We began setting up our photo booth at weddings a few years ago and it
has become a "must have" for our weddings. Because every wedding is
different, the couples and the guests are different - sometimes it's just a
good time with no props, and sometimes it's CRAZY with or without props.
We aim to take a studio quality photo of everyone that comes into the booth
with a normal pose and if they want, a funny pose.
It's huge, but we can make it smaller. The typical set up is 8x8 feet and it's
all black from the outside. The staff at the Mavris enjoyed taking photos as a
surprise for the couple and commented that it was one of the nicest ones
outside the reception hall. We don't set it up until after the main events as to
not distract the "ohss and ahhs" that you want your guests to have when they
walk into the reception. This also helps to not take away guests that should
main events.
The best part? We man it ourselves! We don't just stick a camera in there
with a tripod or a computer like you've seen at all of the other weddings, we
actually coach and pose people!All around it's a great time and loads of fun
for everyone involved - especially the children - they usually come out of the
booth with the same excitement of riding a roller coaster!
Of course, if you don't like it or you think that it's tacky, then no harm done,
it's complimentary and will not effect our collection rates either way. Since
