David's Version (for you fiction lovers out there)

The good book says, The TRUTH shall set you FREE

It was the fall of 2004. David was the new stud on campus that every girl was in love with. LaNesha, was a junior. I spotted her from across the room and fell in love. I decided that I should introduce myself. As I began walking in her direction, I could tell her heart was beginning to beat faster and faster with every step I took. I reached out my hand to say hello and her heart began to melt. I took her out on a few dates to sweep her off her feet and she continued to play hard to get.

ThenA lot of time passes

Fast forward a year and a half later. I'm ending my sophomore year and LaNesha is ending her senior year. After my constant persistence, she finally came to her senses and began listening to what her heart had been tell her since day one. She invites me over and declares her undying love for me. She started the day as a single lady and ended it with the man of her dreams. From then on she became my best friend, and I fell deeper and deeper in love with her every day.

How we met:

Lanesha's version (the real story)

It was the fall of 2004. david was a dorky brand new freshman buzzing around the au campus. lanesha was a mature, experienced, awesome junior. we were introduced. Lanesha thinks, "hmm he's cute for a little kiddo" and david thinks "I'm in love!" and so the hunt begins. Lanesha goes to class the next day to be greeted by 4-5 people (lets name a few...eric martinez, whitney webb, even tara receveur one of my best friends who should have been ashamed of herself!!! :) who live in david's dorm. "You have to date this guy, lanesha! He's so sweet and he's totally in love with you!" they all exclaim. I did not. I did however go on a date or two with him. i found him cute but...young. THen...

A lot.......of time......passes.....

fast forward a year and a half later. I'm now ending my senior year, david, his sophomore year. He's a different man, for sure. I went to a pacers game with another best friend of mine, ashley. We're talking about dating and she says to me, "why don't you give david a chance?" So, I go home, and email david and ask if he wants to talk. He comes over single and leaves with a girlfriend! From then on, I was sold, and fell deeper and deeper in love with him everyday!
