why do you like to photograph sessions at odd or different locations, in homes and out of the local photography studio?

Well, although we love controlled lighting because it makes our job so much easier, and studio shots are great, we feel:

1. Studio shots are Boring and all look the same.

2. It saves us overhead, saving you money!!

3. It makes everyone more comfortable, therefore their photos turn out better. For every studio session we've done, although we do our best to make everyone feel comfortable, I can sense the nervousness. When people are walking around downtown, etc, they tend to forget that it's an actual session and they HAVE FUN!

Yes, we can do the old kind, but it's such a shame! We prefer the variety of backgrounds the city and country side has to offer, not to mention the sun is the best light you can ever have.

what type of equipment do you use and are you insured?

Our cameras and lens are all Canon, and you can find a full list on our about page, in our bag. We carry over 150 GB of memory on the wedding day. We are fully loaded! We bring an emergency kit for the bride and groom to utilize if needed (it gets used at every wedding.) We have 4, yes 4, computers and so many portable hard drives I can't count them. We are fully insured with a Business Policy. Although we love our job and it is so much fun, it is still a business and we have professional equipment and we are always prepared!

why are your wedding photography rates so much lower than other professional wedding photographers in the indianapolis area?

This is an easy one. 98% of all of the work that we do for wedding photography, senior pictures, etc., are from referrals, word of mouth and online advertising. We don't do bridal shows, well, because we don't have to.

We easily book 30 weddings in one year from our raving fan's referrals and online advertising. This saves us money, and therefore we are able to pass the savings to you! We can spend thousands of dollars on bridal shows and charge more, but that just seems like a waste of money - and in today's economy, we are money smart - helping you to be money smart too!
